Healthy quick homemade pocket pies for the whole family made from leftovers! Now we're talkin'!
Makes: 4-6 pockets
Prep Time : 5min
Air fryer Time : 6-7min
1 large cooked chicken breast (finely chopped)
1 heaped tablespoon Mayonnaise
1 heaped tablespoon cooked veggies (I used broccoli but you can add any veggies)
4-6 slices of bread of choice (1 slice per pocket pie)
Mini pie press
Mix together chopped chicken, mayonnaise and left over veggies. If your chicken breast wasn't seasoned you can add herbs and spices of your choice to this mix.
Cut out bread circle rounds using the back of the one press.
Add fillings and press pies into shape.
Air fry for 6-7min @ 180*C until golden brown and super crispy!
Always allow to cool before serving to children. I suggest cutting pies open (in half) to speed up cooling time if need be.
