Summertime Popsicles 6m+

I always find it difficult to meet my kids "treat" needs during the holiday season without completely giving into the full sugar rush of the festive season! Not any more... These 3 ingredient NO NASTIES popsicles are a huge success around here!




INGREDIENTS ( Makes 3 popsicles):

  • 200 ml any plain full cream yoghurt

  • 1 pitted date finely chopped

  • 3 ripe strawberries, finely chopped

  • OPTIONAL : add a squeeze of honey for the older kiddies (12m+)


METHOD :

  1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and blend with a stick/hand blender

  2. Pour into molds and insert sticks

  3. Freeze for 3hours+ (or preferably overnight)

These can also be frozen into ice trays and you can use one cube in your oats in the morning to add creaminess and additional nutrients without having to overthink it.


You can also serve this yoghurt recipe as a puree without freezing it :-)


Suitable for 6m+ (without honey).
