Crumbed Chicken Strips

Homemade chicken strips are much easier to make than you think! Follow these simple steps to make your own delicious crumbed strips in under 30min!


Flour mix : 1 cup plain wheat flour mixed with half a sachet of brown onion soup powder

Egg mix : 3 eggs beaten with a fork and seasoned with salt and pepper

Crumb mix : 1 cup bread crumbs and 1 cup panko crumbs.

2-4 chicken breasts(depending on how many you want to make) cut into strips.

Oil spray - I use olive oil spray.


  1. Preheat oven (200 degrees Celsius)

  2. Coat your chicken strips in the flour mix

  3. Dip coated chicken strips in the egg mix

  4. Generously coat the strips in the crumb mix

  5. Place on a greased/lined baking sheet, spray crumbed strips with oil spray and bake @200 degrees Celsius for approximately 15-20min until golden brown.

*Don’t overcook or it will become too dry.

Serve with a dip or sauce of your choice
